Beach Road Clinic provides both NHS-funded (if applicable) and private services. For private services, patients are responsible for ensuring that fees are paid in full and on time.

Payment Terms

Fees must be paid at the time of booking, prior to treatment, or as otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept payment by debit/credit card, bank transfer, or other approved methods.

Where payment is not received in advance, we reserve the right to withhold treatment until full payment is made.

Insurance Patients

Patients using private health insurance remain personally responsible for any fees not covered by their insurer.

It is the patient’s responsibility to confirm insurance cover and obtain any required authorisations.

Any shortfall, excess, or declined claims must be paid directly by the patient.

Cancellations & Non-Attendance

At least 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged at 100% of the appointment fee.

Debt Recovery & Liability

Invoices not settled within 14 days of the due date may accrue interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily.

We reserve the right to refer unpaid accounts to a debt recovery agency and/or commence legal proceedings. Patients will be liable for all associated costs, including legal fees, debt recovery charges, and interest.

The patient (or their guarantor) is ultimately responsible for payment of all fees incurred, regardless of any arrangement with insurers, employers, or third partie
